Just two days prior to his passing on January 24, 2025, Albert met with Board members of Resolve Parkinson’s, where he engaged in spirited discussion and enjoyed the camaraderie of the group. His sudden passing was not only surprising, but it leaves us with a true sense of loss. We will miss his energy, passion, intellect, and persistence in the face of the difficult puzzle that is Parkinson’s.
Before our last meeting, Albert shared an article with the Board of Directors summarizing his most recent thinking about Parkinson’s. With the permission of his family, we publish it here as Albert’s final words and Resolve Parkinson’s pledges to our fellow patients that we will continue the bold advocacy Albert has so effectively communicated.
